Autodesk is well known in the mechanical design space for it's AutoCAD tool - a very capable tool for drafting and a standard in many manufacturing driven companies. When it comes to 3D solid modeling, Autodesk Inventor ranks high in terms of technology but the current market perception under serves the true value of the tool relative to the alternatives.
